"Capture" is a 20 minute short film that follows Matthew, the only witness to the murder of his friends, as he is coerced into delivering a false narrative in a documentary interview. On this project, I served as the first assistant director. This was my first time seeing a project from start to finish as a 1st AD, but the result was incredibly awarding. The toughest challenge I faced in my role on this set was scheduling a Jib shot in one hour. Since this project was produced solely by students, having the ability to get a jib shot was a big deal, but making sure we had the time to get it to the best of our abilities was nothing short of difficult. It took strategic planning with prep time, but the end result was worth it. This project is available for stream now on Youtube.
